This Sunday we are going to stay at the hotel after service and have lunch together. We already have lots of people planning to stay, which is amazing! This is going to be a great opportunity to reconnect with the FH family, as well as bless the hotel and their staff (they are so excited that we are coming). If you are joining us and haven't already let Erin know, do so here. There will be 2 FH specials for $12 plus the full menu to order from, and as a reminder everyone is responsible to pay for their own meal.

Every Sunday evening we have a Freedom House team serving dinner at the Brantford Blessing Centre. We have a lot of fun in the kitchen together for a couple of hours and get to serve about 100 people with a hot and delicious meal. If you'd like to join the team once a month, please let Erin know and she'll add you to the schedule.

Dave continued our Wonder League series on Sunday with a look at a few "Temple Brats". Samuel, Zechariah, Simeon and Anna are great reminders of the value of consistency and faithfulness. These are just 4 stories from the Bible of ordinary people doing extraordinary things with God. Times have changed, but not that much. Just like these people, we have to choose to be involved and listen to God despite the circumstances around us. Good habits, like regular church involvement and reading the Word, position us in the right place to be able to head and see what God's doing.
