Summer Academy The Seattle Nativity School admission process each year begins the first week of July with Summer Academy. New friendships are established, a tremendous amount of personal growth occurs, and knowledge is expanded. At the end of the three weeks, admission is offered to the future sixth grade cohort, Seattle Nativity School Class of 2022. Welcome!
Summer School As part of our college preparatory model, all students receive instruction through an extended school year. Seattle Nativity students attend three weeks of Summer School on the campus of Seattle Preparatory School. Our students study core subjects as well as great electives like engineering (bottle rockets pictured). Our extended day plus Summer School results in 130% of the Washington State average of instructional hours.
Summer Fun! Every summer, organizations in the greater Seattle area reach out to provide extraordinary experiences for our students. This year was exceptional.
AGC Education Foundation Construction Adventure Camp provided a week of all-day camp supporting STEM education for the sixth consecutive year.
Michael P. Anderson Aerospace Program at the Museum of Flight
provided a 6-month aerospace and STEM program culminating with skydiving at iFly and flying as a co-pilot in a small plane from Renton Airfield.
Big City Mountaineers invited our graduates on a pre-expedition day of rcck-climbing and confidence-building at the Mountaineers South Plaza Climbing Wall @ Magnuson Park.
Big City Mountaineers led a week-long backpacking excursion for our graduates in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.
