Make a Donation
As we enter Autumn we notice the abundant produce growing at the glasshouses and farm start to see a seasonal change and wonderful pumpkins, squash, apples, pears and winter greens take centre stage.

Congratulations to Phoenix School Farm who won 1st prize in the Best Potted Up Annual category and 2nd prize in the Best Seasonal Display category for the 3rd year running at the City Harvest Festival at Capel Manor Gardens this year! HCGA also won 3rd prize in the Best Miniature Garden category! Hundreds of people came together to celebrate our wonderful city farms and community gardens from across the capital. We hope you can join us for our Apples and Pears Festival on Saturday (see below for full details). We will be celebrating these versatile autumnal fruits with a whole host of apple themed games, apple and pear tastings, juicing and preserves!


Apples & Pears Festival
Saturday 10th October, 10am – 3pm
Ravenscourt Park Glasshouses

There will be lots of apple themed activities for the whole family, as well as apple and pear tastings, and preserves for sale. Bring your spare apples along for juicing!

HCGA Quiz Night
Thursday 22nd October, 7-9pm
The Orchard Tavern, Askew Road

Tickets are £10 and includes food from Detour Café. Drinks are available from the bar. Tables for teams of 4 to 6 people. Booking essential, please email bookings@hcga.org.uk We hope you can join us!

White City Play Project – October Playday
Wednesday 28th October, 12-3pm
Australia Road, White City W12

Street play with  water, boxes, tyres, arty & messy stuff, face paints, bubbles, wood and tools . . .  and plenty more. FREE to access, all ages and families welcome. For more information please contact Joel, Community Playworker on 020 8749 0909.

HCGA Spooky Halloween Playscheme
Thursday 29th October, 10am-12pm & 1-3pm
Ravenscourt Park Glasshouses

Fun environmental activities for local families and children up to 12. Please note children will need to be accompanied by a carer. No need to book just turn up!

Spooky activities for children and familes. Please see events page on website for more details.

Healthy Winter Event at Parkview Centre for Health & Wellbeing
Thursday 3rd December, 2-7pm

Local services will come together to provide handy tips for staying healthy during the cold winter months. HCGA will be there offering some relaxation themed activities and tasters of delicious homemade soup with the Soup 4 Lunch project.

Wreath Making
Saturday 5th December
Ravenscourt Park Glasshouses

Join us for a festive day of Christmas wreath and gift making, using pine cones, cinnamon sticks and other natural materials. This event is inside the Ravenscourt Glasshouses and is suitable for all ages. No need to book, drop in any time between 10am and 3pm, suggested donation of £5 per wreath.

Edible Askew Road @Christmas - Tree Light Switch on at Starch Green

Join us in a I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas themed event including carol singing & a Christmas Trail. This event is being supported by Askew Business Network and many local businesses.
