It's ON! Save the day in your diary for #commscamp15
It's another July date at the Bond Company in Birmingham
We're sending this email to you as someone who has signed up for a Commscamp in the past.
We're dropping you a note now to let you know we'll be sending out monthly emails to keep you updated on Commscamp '15. We'll also keep you posted on a few other events that have an unconference element to them you may like.
So, big news for next year...
Reserve the date in your diary as Thursday July 9 will be the date of the next Commscamp once again at The Bond Company, Fazeley Street, Birmingham.
We know, we know... how to contain the excitement and enthusiasm until then?
How do we get tickets...?
We're looking to keep the event free as ever and we'll keep you posted on when tickets will be released through this regular email. Expect some dates to aim at in the September email and we'll keep you posted on @commscamp and the #commscamp15 hashtag on Twitter.
Can we sponsor...?
We've already dropped a note to last year's wonderful, gorgeous and pouting sponsors but we'd love to hear from you if you'd like to get involved to help the magic happen for next year's event.
How can we keep going until then...?
Three main ways... practice baking, catch-up on learning and go and do some good stuff.
You can catch-up on the rather impressive explosion of ideas and learning that came about after the last one.... there were 8 videos, 2 vines, 162 pictures, 15 blogs, 8 storifies, 1 infographic and 354 people contributing to the Twitter.
What you told us...
Thanks for completing the after-event feedback survey if you did. You liked it. You really, really liked it with 96 per cent in our survey loving or hugely loving the event with 81 per cent giving the sessions they attended a bumper four and five stars.
And yes, there will be a Wi-Fi upgrade for next year. The Bond Company are on it.
Some other events you may like in the meantime...
None of them are quite like commscamp, admittedly, but here are some events we think you may like...
Intranet Now is in London on Tuesday September 2 and more details are here and is being staged by intranet practioners Wedge and Brian Lamb.
GalleryCamp is in Derby on Tuesday September 23 and more details here and is for people who live and work with or in the world of arts and gelleries. Tim Wilson is behind this one.
GovCamp Cymru is in Cardiff on Saturday September 27 and more details here and is Wales' first national unconference. The Sartori Lab people are behind that one.
Commsforchange14 is in Birmingham on Wednesday September 24 and more details here and aimed at comms people and the people who they work with and is designed to help you change the ways comms is done in your organisation. It'll be brilliant (disclaimer: comms2point0 are doing it with PSCSF.)
So have a look at the other events to keep you going and we'll drop you an email with more in September on #commscamp15.
Feel free to send this to a friend so they can add their names here to the email list for news of the event.
If you'd rather not have the updates, that's no problem. Unsubscribe details are at the bottom of the email and we'll be gone POOOOUUFF!
