The Friday Letter

September 20, 2019

Dear friends of USDB,

We hope you enjoy this snapshot of the great work underway and success stories from across the State of Utah.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Giving Back

Ogden elementary students at the Kenneth Burdett School worked on a project that will make an impact in the lives of others. The students learned about hurricanes, homelessness, and what they could do to make a difference.  The students had great ideas and enjoyed making blankets for the local children's homeless shelter. The students will continue the activity next week, and they will be including food and hygiene items into the packs.

Nice work students, teachers and staff!

Upcoming Events

Thank You Melissa!

Ms. Madelyn‘s class found a creative way to say goodbye to our outstanding secretary Melissa who is moving away to a new job ! Using braille and different textured papers her giant card reads USDB loves Melissa with some hashtags to remember her by.
Do you love what you do for a living? Teachers and staff love it here at the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind.
