Next weekend marks the one year anniversary of our election win in Davenport!  Can you believe it? 
 
It has been an incredibly busy year for me and my friends in the Davenport NDP. We're all looking forward to a bit of a break over the long weekend, but first we'd like to celebrate with you!
We have a lot to celebrate and a lot to be thankful for.
We're incredibly lucky to have such a loving, generous and supportive community, and to be part of an energized party on the path to form the next government of Ontario.
 
I hope to celebrate with you next Thursday.

When: 6pm-12am, Thursday, Oct. 4
Where: Steelworkers Hall, 25 Cecil St. (this venue is fully accessible)
What: A family friendly BBQ, with vegetarian options and affordable drinks, and a rocking set  by the Swamp Yankees
Why: To celebrate our hard work and successes in Davenport and to raise money in preparation for the next election.

Please join me, MP Andrew Cash, and my boss and the next premier of Ontario, Andrea Horwath!

We'll celebrate Thursday night, then take a couple of days to rest over the weekend.  We have a challenging road ahead of us, and we expect we will be facing another election very soon.
 
Tickets are $75 but cost you under $30 with your tax rebate.
 
Kids are free.
 
We know that times are tough, so you may also consider signing up for a lower monthly contribution (called a "pac") that will help us get ready for the next election.
