What is an APG?
An Affiliate Program Group, or APG, consists of alumni or friends of Penn State who have a common interest in a particular academic, professional,or extracurricular activity that is related to a specific college or campus program.
We hope to help our alumni expand their networking reach, become more engaged, connected and informed.
If you have any questions or would like to help with the Penn State York Veteran Alumni APG, contact Doug Ninkovich at email@example.com.
Recommended Reading and Tour with a Penn State Connection: “A Field Guide to Gettysburg by Carol Reardon and Tom Vossler”
Carol Reardon is the George Winfree Professor of American History at Penn State and co-author of “A Field Guide to Gettysburg.” Reardon and Vossler have about 40 years of combined experience leading tours of the Gettysburg battlefield for groups of dignitaries, active duty and reserve military units, ROTC cadets, Penn State alumni and students from grade school through graduate school. These tours and the questions that the participants asked about the battle helped shape the researchers approach to the guidebook.
