To celebrate Earth week last month, the Center for Applied Research on the Environment and Sustainability (CARES) held a booth in the plaza where they had various activities including painting, trivia in collaboration with The Gaia Movement, and pepper planting from their hydroponics system on display. Based on the reports issued by The Office of Sustainability ( mainly the Carbon Footprint Report, Sustainability Report, and the Green Guide Brochure), the Office of Marketing Communication and Public Affairs has launched a campaign on campus tripods covering two themes: Sustainable AUC by the numbers 2021 and What we can do at AUC to protect the environment?
