Big Tide Brewery Profile

Big Tide Brewing Company
Owners: Chris and Ron Vair, Wendy Papadopoulos (Brewmaster), & Tom MacArthur (Head Chef)
Year Established: 2009
Address: 47 Princess St, Saint John NB
How did you decide to begin operating a brewery in NB? The reason we started a brewery was that there was a void in Saint John when our first micro closed its doors. The population was starting to get into craft beer more and more every year so my brother and I thought it was a good time to get in before any else did.
What is your favourite beer being made at the brewery? My favourite beer is the one that pours the best but my brother's is the Benedict Arnold ESB.
What do you see for the outlook of the NB brewing industry? The outlook for craft beer in NB seems to be good. It seems every week we find someone new who is just getting hooked on the full flavour of craft beer.
Where can people purchase your beer? At the moment our beer can only be purchased at Bigtide. Either in house, a growler or a 20litre keg(when available).
