Data Security Review:
Safeguarding Personal Data
Welcome to Issue 3 of the Data Security Review
Hello again,
As I was packing for vacation the other day, I was thinking about all of the opportunities that exist for my personal data to be compromised. I will be bringing my phone, my laptop, my tablet and my reader onboard the cruise ship. Traveling with mobile devices has become a necessity to stay connected while we are away, yet many situations we encounter make our devices vulnerable for attack.

With the warm air, sunny days and tropical drinks, I may become less vigilante in protecting my data. That’s why it is crucial to make sure that all of my security measures are in place and up to date now; my virus protection, my encryption, my passwords, my MDM, my firewall, my IPS just to name a few…

Stay safe and be vigilante because no matter who you are or where you are going, someone wants what you have. “Your Data” “Your Identity” are worth $$’s to many! Keeping your devices secure keeps the bad guys away.
