4th Annual Spring Flower Show

"Red" by Bobbi Mercouri

Everything's coming up roses, or lilies, or poppies...

Henry Ward Beecher said, “Flowers have an expression of countenance as much as men or animals.  Some seem to smile; some have a sad expression; some are pensive and diffident; others again are plain, honest and upright, like the broad-faced sunflower and the hollyhock.” Discover the many faces of flowers as various artists celebrate spring at the Kennedy Gallery in this popular midtown tradition.

"Bird House #1" by Judith Monroe
“No Place Like It”

“At a certain point in my wandering life, I realized that I felt drawn to  home, to the landscape of California, and my husband and I both agreed that there truly is no place like it...” Judith Monroe continues to explore the concept of home in two and three dimensional mixed media artworks. Judith is a mixed media artist with a background in traditional and alternative process photography. She has incorporated mixed media into her photography for twenty-five years, constantly expanding her knowledge and gradually bringing more collage, writing, and drawing into her finished pieces.
