Afghan translator who worked for US Army reportedly beheaded by Taliban
Sohail Pardis, 32, worked as a translator for the US Army for 16 months. He was killed by the Taliban on May 12 while driving from Kabul to Khost province. He had been receiving death threats from the Taliban, who said he was a spy for the Americans.

Conservative Montenegro registers 1st same-sex partnership
The announcement on Sunday is seen as a major step forward for the LGBTQ community. The strongly patriarchal nation last year passed a law allowing same-sex partnerships. Government Minister Tamara Srzentic says she is proud that the law has been used. The law gives same- sex couples equal rights as heterosexual ones, except over adopting children.

Russia working on two new 'Doomsday planes' for use in nuclear war
Putin plans to build two new Ilyushin 96-400M’s to control troops and missiles. The planes are designed for the president and other top military, security and ministerial officials. The first of the new airborne command and control planes is now believed to be under construction and would be based on the design of Putin's current presidential jet.

Ronny Jackson, former White House doctor, predicts Biden will resign
Ronny Jackson, who now serves as Texas Republican congressman, said that he believes Biden is suffering a cognitive decline and could be on his way out one way or another. Jackson predicted that Biden will either be forced to resign or will face the 25th Amendment regarding whether he’s mentally fit to remain in office.

DFEH made extensive allegations about an ingrained culture of discrimination and sexual harassment. Activision called the action "disgraceful and unprofessional".
