WHY DOES CCA KEEP CALLING?

There it is again, CCA showing up on your Caller ID. Why should you pick up? Because our conversation ensures that families we send to you are a good match for your program! This saves time for both you and the families we serve. There are two main reasons we might be calling:

  • Vacancy checks - Families are desperate to find child care for their children these days. CCA staff call programs to inquire about openings on behalf of a particular family to meet their immediate need for care.
  • Program updates - If it's been a while since we've talked to you about something other than your openings, we can't be sure our database is accurate for your program. We would hate to send a family to you for a service you don't provide, so it's important that our records are as up-to-date as possible.

New Provider Update Raffle!
CCA will be calling programs the third Tuesday and Thursday of each month. If you pick up during that time and complete a provider update, you'll be entered to win an awesome prize!

SUPPORT IN ANY LANGUAGE

We're here to grow with all in central Indiana. As a demonstration of our commitment to growing diverse communities, bilingual family and community engagement specialist, Megan Day presents family workshops and collaborates with local partners to present in Spanish. Bilingual program engagement specialist, Lucy Intriago, also supports Spanish speakers interested in opening a new child care program or needing resources.

We also offer a number of supports for those whose first language is not English, including our translatable website in languages such as Burmese, Pashto, Greek, Gujarati, and Polish. Is a language you need not listed? Let us know!

Bilingual Children's Books

Looking for a way to serve children in languages other than English? Consider a bilingual story time! With books like those from Child's Play, you can explore Spanish and even languages such as Haitian Creole.

We have so many resources for families. Feel free to share in your newsletter, social media, or other communications with parents!
