CCDF Vouchers

Build, Learn, Grow Scholarship
Exciting news!
The Build, Learn, Grow scholarship for essential workers has been extended to March 2022 AND eligibility has been broadened to most families in Indiana. Apply now to receive up to 80% coverage for child care for kids up to age 12.  You must be an essential worker with family income at or below 128-400% of Federal Poverty Level.

On My Way Pre-K
Have a 4-year old in your family? You may be eligible to receive FREE pre-K! This scholarship, available to families of Hoosier 4-year olds who meet income eligibility, is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Team updates

A big congrats to our Family Engagement Specialist, Jamie Le Sesne Spears, on the birth of her daughter Freya this spring. Jamie is already back from maternity leave and putting her experience as a mom of a newborn to work for you!

We are also thrilled to welcome our new Bilingual Family & Community Engagement Specialist, Megan Day. Megan recently relocated back home to Indianapolis from San Antonio, Texas. She is a graduate of Indiana University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in social work and a minor in Spanish and psychology. Megan most recently worked as a teacher leader at KIPP University Preparatory High School.  

We are looking for volunteers with experience in finance or other professional expertise to join our board. If you or someone you know would be interested, please contact Executive Director Mollie Smith at

Tom Taylor leads Child Care Answers' Family & Community Engagement team. His influence reaches to businesses and employers, policymakers, community agencies, and, of course, Central Indiana families like yours.
