We know that "summer break" is anything but restful for early childhood and out-of-school-time professionals like you. Check out all of our available opportunities and resources to help keep you on track as this new season begins. 

Funding and Business Opportunities


If you haven't heard, the Build, Learn, Grow initative offers a wide number of opportunities to keep you and your families afloat during these wild times. Some highlights for providers include:

  • Emergency relief grants offered through September 10
  • Increased CACFP reimbursements through September
  • Waived background check fees through April 2022
  • $400 onboarding stipends for new hires through April 2022
  • Child Care Closure grants offered through the end of 2021

To receive Build, Learn, Grow support, you are required to complete the Fundamentals for Business Sustainability training on Indiana Learning Paths. Learn more about Build, Learn, Grow.
 

We are proud to have supported almost 100 providers with COVID-19 grants for health-and-safety-related materials and supplies, increased staffing, cleaning services, additional furniture to support social distancing, and other needs. Our last round of Indiana CARES about Child Care applications closed May 28. 

Support for Your Workforce

If you are a director, owner, or administrator, you know the challenges of finding and keeping great staff in your program. Indiana AEYC can offer support and resources related to recruitment and retention, supportive work environments, planning for professional growth, national accreditation, and more!

Healthy Environment Support

The Engaging Childcares to Impact Infant Mortality project from the IU School of Medicine provides materials and professional connections to child care programs. Their focus is on supporting healthy and safe environments for young children and their families.

Each quarter, early learning professionals have the opportunity to strategically advise and collaborate on SPARK Learning Lab's technical assistance support and approaches. Family Engagement Spotlight

Did you know that we offer FREE services to families for parenting, special needs, and more? Please connect any families to us who might need another hand to hold. Feel free to print off some of our flyers (available in English and Spanish) to hand to families. You can also send them to our website at childcareanswers.org or ask them to call us at 317.636.5727. 

Also, feel free to share some of our resources for families in your newsletter, social media, or other communications with parents!
