As we all start fresh in 2021, let's make this the year where all Central Indiana families have access to quality affordable child care and resources to help them on their parenting journey. We value your partnership in this mission. See below for some great opportunities where we can work together.

Central Indiana Alliance for Working Families

In collaboration with the Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) Network, Chances and Services for Youth (CASY), and The Child Care Resource Network (TCCRN) we are building the Central Indiana Alliance for Working Families

This alliance, made up of local community stakeholders in Central Indiana, will leverage CCR&R resources to educate policymakers in local township government, as well as private sector employers. We are excited to continue our advocacy work at the local level to promote the importance of early childhood education for all. Learn more...

Partner Spotlight

Child Care Answers has been working hand-in-hand with AAIM Employers' Association to understand employers' needs when it comes to child care. We especially appreciate their support as we introduced our Employer Data Collection pilot. During this pilot, we worked with local businesses to survey their employees to understand their needs for child care and family-friendly policies. We then provide a detailed report and recommendations to help inform leadership and HR decisions for the firm.

Interested in connecting with us on our data collection services and other free programs for employers? Fill out our Community Information Form.

Fundraising Success

Thanks to your generous support, Child Care Answers raised over $1,000 on December 1 - otherwise known as Giving Tuesday. It's never too late to contribute your financial gifts! Donate online...

We are also now part of the Amazon Smile program. Sign up for Amazon Smile and list Child Care Answers of Central Indiana as your charity of choice.

Team Member Updates

We are currently hiring for two full-time positions. If you know someone who would be a good fit for the Child Care Answers family, please refer them to our application pages:

We are also looking for volunteers with experience in branding, marketing, and fundraising to join one of our board committees. If you or someone you know would be interested, please contact Program Director Mollie Smith at mollies@childcareanswers.com.

Relationship Growth Specialist Lael Hill has accepted a position as Executive Director of Mental Health America of Hendricks County (MHAHC). We appreciate her advocacy for child care and early childhood education, as well as the partnerships she has built with local businesses, policymakers, and organizations. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Lael and MHAHC in the future. Lael's last day with Child Care Answers is January 15. Feel free to connect to another member of our staff through our Community Information Form.
