Hi <<First Name>>,

Welcome to Seton, and congratulations on the purchase of your home!  On behalf of the Seton Homeowners Association, we would like to welcome you to the neighborhood and our community.

The core of any thriving community is its proud residents. Seton’s Homeowners Association will maintain an exclusive lifestyle centre that will be the catalyst for healthy, fun, and vibrant living through signature programs and events. It will be the heart of the community, serving as a gathering place for friends and neighbours to come together and connect.
Construction of the Seton HOA facility and park is expected to begin in 2022 and will serve the Seton community and immediate community to the south of 212th (name TBD). This exclusive centre will be approximately 14,000 square feet, sitting on a six-acre site and will be a place for residents to connect, play, and explore. Preliminary plans of the park include:
  • Splash park
  • Central fire pit gathering area
  • Casual skating area
  • Hockey rink
  • Outdoor basketball
  • Tennis/pickleball courts
  • Playground
  • Picnic/bbq shelters
  • Amphitheatre
  • Enhanced gathering areas
  • And more!
  • Enhanced treatments throughout the community (seasonal lights, entry features, and more)
  • Discounted registered programming for all ages and interests, plus “value added” programs
  • Discounted facility rentals
  • Participation in community special events
The HOA has started to offer programming and events in the community – a great opportunity to meet your new neighbours! Watch for more information on the next event in the e-newsletters and on the website.

The Seton HOA encumbrance fees are currently $0.00 (for the 2021-22 fiscal year). Fees will be applicable to all homes in Seton when the HOA amenities are
available. When fees are applicable, notices will be emailed in early March and
fees will be due April 1st.
Below are links with further information about your community and HOA
  • Seton HOA website has great resources and up-to-date HOA information.
  • Information on how to best connect with your community. With such a large team committed to working together and making Seton the best place to call home, it can be confusing to navigate who to connect with and how.
  • Seton Homeowners Association brochure (Articles of Association, Encumbrance, etc.).
  • Livability research. Last year, Brookfield Residential surveyed residents of Seton to learn about their experiences living in the neighbourhood. We asked questions to find out what makes Seton great, how it could be improved, and how we can support to make Seton the best place to call home for you, your family, friends and neighbours.
  • Building a Community around Health and Wellness. Brookfield Residential Calgary’s approach to designing Seton aimed to maximize the health and wellbeing of the homeowners. It considers health and wellness in all its dimensions, including social, mental and physical. It is rooted in the notion that community design and homeowner engagement can help support healthy lifestyles and wellbeing.
  • Communities Referral Program. Good friends make great neighbours. Share your experience with friends and family, and whey they purchase a new home on an active Brookfield Residential community, Brookfield will reward you with $1,000.
