The survey is being conducted by EY Sweeney, commissioned by DoH to conduct independent research. As such, the survey is completely anonymous and confidential.

The survey will close on Sunday 11 April.

SALSA Voices are Raised Day
Noelene Callaghan, Nita Jennings, Lisa Romano and Associate Professor Smita Shah

On Wednesday 30 March, Nita Jennings and Lisa Romano from our Commissioning Team attended the Students As Lifestyle Activists (SALSA) Youth Voices Action Day at Rooty Hill High School.

SALSA is a peer-led leadership program that is currently provided in five high schools in Western Sydney and focuses on empowering students to make better choices for their health whilst building leadership skills. Through a series of structured lessons, students work in groups to design School Action Plans and follow these through to achieve the desired outcome to benefit the wider school community.

In attending the Youth Voices Action Day the team were able to witness peer-leaders and students present their initiatives and share the great outcomes achieved through the implementation of the School Action Plan.

For more information about this program, visit the SALSA website.
