Winter Vermont Brewers Festival Killington Chip Allen

Dear Vermont Tourism Industry Partners,

Let me extend a huge thank you to all who helped make Tourism Day such a success on January 15. Over 150 tourism colleagues, friends and fellow Vermonters were able to join us in Montpelier to hear compelling testimony from all over the state on how important tourism is to our communities and to the economic future of our state.

The inspiration from that day was solidified when Governor Scott showed his support for the tourism industry with a call for an additional $1 million investment in marketing for tourism, outdoor recreation and economic development in his annual Budget Address. The legislation that details the additional funding (H.705) is making its way through the Legislature, so please reach out to your Senators and Representatives to voice your support.

With the brilliant blue skies and sunshine we have enjoyed the last several days, it has not been hard to stay passionate about Vermont and to enjoy winter to its fullest. Thank you for continuing to voice support for this critical investment to help us promote and share the Vermont experience we enjoy every day.
