Trek Bike Giveaway a Heartwarming Success
On January 6, approximately 200 new Trek children's bikes were handed out to families impacted by the fires. The children also received free helmets and an opportunity to ride a fun, on-bike instructional safety skills course. The love for our wonderful community was thick in the air and smiles were abound.
The event was the result of a collaboration between Trek Store of Santa Rosa, Redwood Empire Mountain Bike Alliance, Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition and a plethora of volunteers. Thank you to all of you who donated your time to build bikes, fit bikes and helmets, provide safety checks, oversee the safety course, take photographs and so much more! #SonomaCountyStrong
