WE ARE FINALISTS FOR
A $10,000 GRANT!
SCBC is one of four non-profits nominated to participate in this year's 100 Sonoma People Who Care event!

Nominees  are chosen from five categories: Senior Services; Arts & Sciences; Animal Welfare; Environmental Stewardship; and Family & Children. The other organizations are Alchemia, Petaluma Bounty, and Rebuilding Together Petaluma.

Attendees pay $100 for admission to the event. Each of the nominees gives a presentation about their work; at the end, all the attendees vote and the winner receives ALL of the funds raised.

The event will be held February 27, 5:45-8:00 PM, at the Cavanagh Recreation Center in Petaluma. It includes food and beverages and a chance to mingle with attendees and the other nonprofits. If you'd like to attend, RSVP to mariahs@arrowbenefitsgroup.com. Come on out and help us win!

PEDAL FOR THE PLANET...AND SCBC!

Take part in a  5-day bike ride or hiking adventure, while increasing awareness for sustainability, renewable energy and environmental causes. Select the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition as the beneficiary of your fundraising dollars, and the money you raise will go toward helping us further our mission and vision!

  • Ride or hike through breathtaking scenery and challenge yourself physically
  • Hear from bright minds in policy, advocacy, and innovation during a nightly speaker series
  • Connect with peers who are united to support sustainability and protect our planet
  • Support SCBC by selecting us as your beneficiary when you register

Choose the nearby California North Coast ride (May 20-24; this one is filling up fast!) or venture farther afield; Climate Ride has trips in the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, Glacier National Park, and Nova Scotia.

If you can't ride...you can still donate by supporting one of the four cyclists riding on behalf of SCBC - Gino Gaffney, Zac Douch, Brettt Roncelli, and Serra Aladag.
