Good afternoon <<First Name>>,
Last time I wrote to you, school had just ended for the summer and now we're all preparing to get back into our fall routines. I hope you had a relaxing summer and were able to enjoy the beautiful weather we've had.
As we head into September, you'll notice that the wild parsnip across the city has dried up and gone brown. For the most part, at this stage of the season, there should be little danger to being around or handling the plants, but please continue to use caution. I'll be meeting with City Staff this fall to begin discussing how we'll be moving forward with our wild parsnip management and controls in 2016. We'll have more information for you early next spring.
Don't miss the Richmond Fair!
Every year I look forward to the third weekend in September. I spend the weekend at the Richmond Fair which gives me an opportunity to see and talk to so many residents. Please be sure to come out and enjoy the Fair and stop by my booth to say hi!
Learn more about the fair - September 17-20 - on their website.
If there's anything I can do for you, please hit reply and send me an email or call my office at 613-580-2491.
Sincerely,
