Firm Awarded Major Veterans Affairs Contract
February 2014
Tiscareno Associates was recently awarded an Indefinite De- livery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs for Western Washington and Oregon.
"These are very competitive contracts, and we are pleased that our team was successful," said Tiscareno Principal Jim Cade. "Our past work - the renovation of a 4,000 s.f. prosthetics clinic on the Seattle campus, as well as adaptive reuse of historical structures and clinic space at Walla Walla - provided the foundation for this significant win."
Over the four year contract period, the firm will work on medical facilities in Seattle, American Lake, and Vancouver in Washington state and Portland, Roseburg, and White City in Oregon. Projects may include seismic or energy upgrades, campus and space planning, clinic design, renovations/adaptive reuse, field investigations, management plans, conceptual design and post- construction services.
The initial project is leading an activation team providing space planning FF&E, design review and move management for an 80,000 s.f. community-based outpatient clinic in Eugene, Oregon.
The lDlQ team includes DCI Engineers for structural and civil engineering, ERSI for environmental consulting, Brumbaugh & Associates for landscape architecture, CNN Consulting for cost estimating and Abbossein Engineering for MEP.
