This week was all about sharing what goes on behind the scenes at Doejo. First we recap our talk at the Apple Store where Doejo co-founder Phil Tadros spilled the dirt on the early days of the company. Next we share some of the eye-catching marketing videos our motion graphics team has created over the past few months.

We also take a look at the Google Maps API, which we used to build the Map of the Dead, a viral internal project, and share what we learned from Jason Fried’s talk at Technori. Fried is the co-founder of 37signals and creator or Basecamp, the project management system we use in-house.

Technori Pitch recap: Jason Fried on how we hire a product to do a jobAt this month’s Technori Pitch, Jason Fried, founder of 37signals, shared an enlightening video that changed the way he thinks about business. After sharing the video he sat down for a Q&A where he explained the power of saying no and why you don’t want “dinner parties” making products. Click here to watch the video and read more of our coverage from the monthly event.

Doejo Dev Sessions: Google Maps APIWe dive into the Google Maps API explaining how we used it to create the Map of the Dead, a zombie apocalypse survival map that went super viral. Find out why this API, which helps developers build innovative location-based apps for the web and mobile, is so popular here.
