We also caught up with Michigan-based freelance letterer/illustrator, Neil Tasker and did some brainstorming on how we could use local startups to further our career in the New Year.

Gadget We Want: Invisibility CloakThanks to a Canadian company called HyperStealth it is now possible to render yourself completely invisible. Using a new material called “Quantum Stealth” HyperStealth has created the world’s first invisibility cloak. This material conceals and blends its wearer into their surroundings by manipulating the light waves around them, creating an effect similar to the invisibility cloak found in Harry Potter. Although this technology is currently only being used in the military we can’t wait to get our muggle hands on it!
