I feel a bit on repeat as I write once again about this being a tough week, it seems to be the narrative of our times. However, we all have different stories and experiences. I have been on a journey of self-discovery for the last two years ( while really my whole life, but more specifically the last two years). And while this year has certainly thrown in some loops and obstacles it has also created the space and time I've needed to really evaluate what I want and need to best serve myself and you. To see with clear eyes the parts of my life that I took for granted and maybe let be a bit of a distraction at times, like the ability to go out and be among friends, go to the gym, the shops or book a flight.  But also, to really see the opportunities that have always been here, to go deeper, to read more, to journal more, to raise my vibrations. It's through this that I've discovered some non-negotiables that I need every day to be my best self. I have things that I do at the beginning of the day because if I don't I struggle to get them done: meditate, journal, exercise and write. My 4pm tea break, where I walk away from my computer and just sit for a few minutes before dinner and my evening classes. And then things I do every week like Friday night hangouts with my BFF, quality time with my husband on Sunday afternoons and Thursday night Yin+Restore. While this is a class I teach, it is also a time I look forward to each week to truly de-compress and slow down. Every week is different because every time I teach, it is from my heart. Yet, after every class I am left feeling more grounded, more connected and more at peace.
