Time to get real. The holidays this year might suck, and it's possible right now you are already feeling a bit anxious/depressed at the prospect of not being able to enjoy your usual traditions or be in the company of your loved ones. Over the last few years, I've had a few holidays that I either thought were going to suck and didn't - like the first year after my Dad passed away. Or were actually worse than I anticipated... like the first year my sister moved back to BC, my mom fell and fractured her pelvis and my husband had the flu. But even with a few tears, I got through them and just like every other holiday a few days later it was all a distant memory.

Without question this has been an extremely difficult year on so many different levels, but I also want to remind you that this year has shown you how resilient you are, how creative you can be and also how important the practice of gratitude really is. So please, just take each day as it comes - no expectations, no judgments. Remember your self-care and make sure you exercise and get some fresh air especially in those moments where you feel your anxieties creeping up.

Knowing that our calendars may be a little more free this year, I'm continuing this month with my At Home Retreats on Saturday, December 19th - the theme this month is Gratitude + Joy. Focusing on what we have, and remembering that we have an incredible resource of joy within - sometimes we just need a little extra help to find it.

With Love + Light, Lisa.

One of the most empowering things that I did for myself this year was joining the WIFA L.E.A.D. Program. I’m in my 11th week now and it has been a whirlwind of discovery, challenge, digging deep, connection and friendship. It has brought clarity to my work and the inspiration and courage I have needed to forge ahead.

It’s a 13-week program to connect with your purpose and strength. To align your course with a peer mentor and with the benefit of the WIFA community to help every step of the way.

It’s time we supported each other in making more time for ourselves and our growth. This week we are celebrating Purpose Shared. To help spread my WHY through the world and invite you to write your own. (see program information)

As a WIFA (Women in Fitness Association) Ambassador, I am only given a few referral invitations for the L.E.A.D. program. With this referral invitation, you get 30% off. Use code PURPOSE and secure your spot today! You do need to be a WIFA member, but I have a code for that too: LISA
The world needs more L.E.A.D.ers, will you be one of them?
Join us starting January 11th.

Saturday, December 19th 11:00am – 12:30pm EST

In the spirit of Bhakti Yoga – or love for the sake of love, we will celebrate and cultivate loving joyful energy through our practice. For many, this holiday season is more difficult than in other years. We may feel more disconnected or less like celebrating. When we focus on cultivating gratitude from within, finding our joy from within, we may find our outlook and energy shifts dramatically. Come home to your-Self, be the master of your own joy.

$25 CAD A recording of the live practice will be available to those
registered for 30-days post event.
