If you saw my last email, I announced that October would be devoted to self-care and healing. Whether we work from the outside in, or the opposite from the inside out - we must take care of ourselves. We must must preserve our mental health and build up our resiliency both energetically but also physically. As someone who thrives on helping others, I have come to recognize that if I don't schedule my "me" time in and then actually follow through with it, I am left depleted with the darkness not too far behind. As I've said many times, we can't give from an empty cup, so with that I have created a variety of events both free and paid, for beginners to the more advanced, students and teachers - for us to do just that - Fill our cups!
In September I started a private Facebook group: Sangha Wellness Collective. A space to go when you are feeling alone or disconnected. To reach out and share, or read about how others are managing their own self-care and navigating this "new normal." + this month we've just added a virtual book club! If you'd like to be a part of this group, please reply to this email or search for it with the link above. Sangha is community. Together we are always stronger.
