Groovy Booby: The Loving Breast Care Revolution!
October 8th
All Natural Women's Healthy Breast Workshop
Our All Natural Women’s Healthy Breast Workshop is based on the empowering breast health teachings of Cheryl Chapman, RN, National Breast Health Advocate and Pioneer in Breast Massage. With Cheryl’s blessings, we have condensed her rich and comprehensive professional training into an accessible 2-hour workshop that includes hands-on practice and discussion. Fun, respectful, intimate and chock full of positive all-encompassing health education.
Next dates & location:

Monday, October 8th, 2018
6:00 - 7:30 pm
Cape Medical Weight Loss and Integrative Care
2131 William Street
Cape Girardeau, MO 63703

We will explore breast health and breast anatomy, cultural attitudes that impact how we feel about our bodies, and we'll talk a little bit about breast cancer - mainly prevention. We'll learn simple techniques that can optimize breast health and reduce our risk of developing breast cancer.
The workshop includes hands on practice of breast massage techniques (with our clothes on, of course!). We'll also learn about natural, herbal allies and foods that can help promote overall as well as breast health. We hope you can join us for this informational workshop that will take a dive into lifestyle, food and supplements for healthy breasts.
October 2018
Awareness Campaign
This year, during the month of October, we will celebrate what we like to call "Breast Health Awareness Month" though a month-long Facebook series of 18 different articles.
Expect to see articles on the Groovy Booby Facebook page addressing:
- The real grass-roots origin of "Breast Cancer Awareness"
- An examination of what "Pinkwashing" is, and why it matters
- A look at specific products directly linked to breast cancer
- What it means to "Think Before You Pink" and how to successfully do it
- A look at a radical breast cancer organization "Breast Cancer Action"
