Holiday Greetings!

With the approaching holidays, the Cerebral Palsy Association is looking forward to our 66th year of inclusion, diversity, and working to create a Life Without Limits for individuals living with disabilities. 2018 has been a bright year of great growth. During the past year, we were part of the global movement of World CP Day and raised awareness for people with CP by having 7 locations in BC –including Canada Place, Science World, and Kelowna Sails - lighting up green on October 6th.

We are also the proud hosts of workshop series Mental Health in the Workplace: Rights and Responsibilities of Youth with Disabilities, providing information and addressing issues of mental health in the workplace for youth with disabilities. But we didn’t stop there! Our Seniors’ Board has started You & Me Aging Without Limits Mentorship Program, a monthly peer support group addressing issues of aging with disability. Our goal is to be able to support individuals and their families multi dimensionally through financial services, medical advocacy and emotional support programs. And we hope to continue this with your support in 2019!

Wishing you a happy and safe holiday season from all of us at CPABC!

Thank you to All Donors of Annual TMX Charity Golf Tournament!

We would like to express an incredibly heartfelt thank you to all the donors of the 7th Annual TMX Charity Golf Tournament for your support! This year was unbelievably successful and we are overwhelmed with gratitude to TMX Group to be one of the receiving charities.

A huge thank you to members Lore Rooney-Chappell and Brynn Chappell for accompanying us to the cheque presentation!
The funds raised this year will have an unbelievable impact within our organization by funding our programs and services, helping us to award bursaries and providing equipment to those in need. This substantial amount of money is something that we as an organization are extremely grateful for and will certainly help create a life without limits for individuals living with cerebral palsy and other disabilities across the province.
