Dear Air Cargo Belgium member,
Dear Air Cargo Belgium partner,
It took some time, but finally, after a lot of hard work and support from so many at BRUcargo, Air Cargo Belgium is born! An even more challenging job is waiting for us, to make Air Cargo Belgium a strong organisation that can realise its ambition to make BRUcargo a stronger, better, bigger, more efficient and more attractive cargo environment.

At this moment we count already over 50 members and the number is growing week by week. Air Cargo Belgium is here for you, to support you and to facilitate cooperation. On a regular basis, we will inform you via workshops, seminars and via this newsletter. But feel free to contact us any time or to drop by our offices in building 706.
Enjoy the reading,
Steven Polmans
Chairman ACB

ACB kicked off during Take-off event.

The take-off event which took place on the 8th September announced the official launch of Air Cargo Belgium. We welcomed over 200 participants to our event, which reflects the urgent need and desire to implement this umbrella organisation.
All ACB members and guests got introduced to the concept, during a networking reception with finger foods and appetizers, in a cosy atmosphere with accompanying music. Supporting presentations and keynote speeches by Steven Polmans (Head of cargo Brussels Airport & ACB Chairman), Arnaud Feist (CEO Brussels Airport Company), Eric Sleeckx (representative Minister Muyters) and Geert Keirens (ACB Director), put the goals and mission of ACB into words.

“The establishment of Air Cargo Belgium is an important step for the entire cargo community at Brussels Airport. A community that now consists of almost 5,000 people.”
— Arnaud Feist

“Air Cargo Belgium has the ambition to realize a 5% growth in tonnage by 2019.”
— Eric Sleeckx

“The new organisation will represent the Brucargo community on all levels and has a clear goal: strengthen Brucargo, grow the volumes and drive innovation to the benefit of all stakeholders.”
— Steven Polmans

“Today, Brucargo works too much in a fragmented environment. ACB wants to present itself as lobbying and communication tool for the entire air freight community. Increasing efficiency is a major priority.”
— Geert Keirens
