Logistics and distribution Fair.

On Wednesday and Thursday the 21st and 22nd of September Air Cargo Belgium was present at the Brussels Airport village at the Logistics and distribution fair at Brussels expo ! We told our story and met a lot of nice and interesting people while doing it. A special thanks to Brussels Airport and all visitors. Stay tuned for more event and fair dates and we hope to meet you all again, perhaps at the Brussels airport beer bar !?

Innovative business networks.

Air Cargo Belgium’s existence today is thanks to the enthusiasm of our staff, the driven devotion of our members and also because of the support of the Flemish government, the agency for innovation and entrepreneurship in particular. On September 29th, Air Cargo Belgium, accompagnied by the 12 other approved innovative business networks, got invited by the Flemish government on the kick off event. Future cooperation and elaboration have been defined in order to guide the 13 projects to the recipes of success.

Cargo Talks.

As we have announced in our previous newsletter, we are organising the first Cargo Talk evening on November 8th ! Invites have been sent and preparations have been made. We are looking forward to see you there and enjoy the undoubtedly interesting presentation of Mr. Peter Hinssen.

Asia payload awards – Brussels Airport is the best European Airport!

On september 29th the Brussels Airport cargo team won two prestigious prizes at the Payload Asia Awards ceremony in HongKong: the "European Airport of the Year" award and the "X Factor" Customer Choice Award. "These awards are a joint effort and success. Working hard day after day is most of the time fun and rewarding, but getting recognition from the industry for these efforts motivates us even more to make the difference", said Steven Polmans, Head of Cargo of Brussels Airport Company.

New year’s party – save the date.

OTM – “Dag van de verlader”.

On the 18th of October the 9th seminar of ‘Dag van de verlader’ will take place in Antwerp EXPO. This edition’s interesting theme runs as follows: ‘The FUTURE in Logistics starts today’.

Freight Forwarders Forum 2016.

The 16th of November CLECAT’s freight forwarders forum will take place at the Van Der Valk Hotel Brussels Airport. During the event a number of important issues the industry is faced with will be discussed during three different sessions presented by a variety of high level speakers.
