Pause for Paws
If Murphy Creek holds true to national statistics, then 75% or more of us in the neighborhood have pets - mostly cats or dogs or both!
Since so many of our families include pets, the next several editions of the MCGC Neighbors News Blast will focus on pet owners who want to keep their fuzzy family members healthy and safe. We are going to write about healthy food, lost pets and tags, poisons to pets, spaying or neutering, paw protection, wills, adopting pets, etc. etc.
We also want to invite you to be a Guest Writer by sending us a picture of your pet and sharing how your pet became a part of your family. If you're interested, email us.
Give your pet a hug and plan to Pause for Paws over the next few week by reading the News Blast.

New O&G Permit Applications
Aurora Citizens for Responsible Energy (A.C.R.E.) notified us yesterday of several new well permit applications - one of them at 26403 East 6th Avenue - fairly close to Vista Peak Campus. Today it is gone from the City's website. We contacted the planning department, and it is our understanding this application will be posted again soon.
This well would be close to Adonea and Traditions, so we expect that individual homeowners should be contacted for comments. If you live in Adonea or Traditions and aren't contacted for comments soon, we encourage you to visit the City's Development Application website frequently to track this well. As soon as you see the well application and it is open for public comments, please be sure to submit yours.
If you have friends and neighbors who might not receive our Blast, please make them aware of this pending well. When this application is once again posted on the City's website, it will be listed as Parachute, DA-1978-00.
In response to email we have received asking about all the nearby wells, we created a new webpage with links to all 13 of the nearby well permit applications. As soon as we notice that the Parachute well application is posted again, we will update this webpage, so be sure to check it frequently.
You can also check the A.C.R.E. website for some interesting articles under the "More" tab about flaring and earthquakes.
