Community Arts Partnership through the Programme for Intercultural Arts Support (PICAS), facilitated exchanges between cultural groups, encouraged collaborative working between new and emerging communities and challenged racism through the creative power of community arts practice. .
The project was supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and we discuss with Shelly Tracey her contribution to the PICAS project and the book which which emerged from the project, "Between Ourselves - Exploring interculturalism through intercommunity creative practice".
