Facing Facts! praised at Fundamental Rights Platform
Facing Facts! project manager Melissa Sonnino presented the project on the occasion of the Fundamental Rights Platform in Vienna at the end of April. The event brought together civil society organisations working on numerous fundamental rights issues across the European Union. The project, presented at ‘The role of civil society in monitoring and increasing reporting of incidents of hate crime’ was deemed as ‘best practice’ in the field of hate crime monitoring. The Platform recognised Facing Facts! as a great resource for CSOs committed to monitoring hate crimes.
