 New projects - Nouveaux projets -   مشاريع جديدة



38 projects of the second standard call for proposals have been adopted by the Joint Monitoring Committee during its eight meeting which took place in Larnaca (Cyprus) on 17th June 2013. The approved projects confirm the relevance of topics such as the conservation of natural and cultural heritage, sustainable tourism, waste and water management, and shed light on new thematic areas like the boost of green technologies in industries, the optimization of port logistics or the support to job creation. 38 projets du deuxième appel à propositions standard ont été approuvés par le Comité de Suivi Conjoint lors de sa huitième réunion qui s’est tenue à Larnaca (Chypre) le 17 juin 2013. Les projets adoptés confirment la pertinence d’enjeux comme la protection du patrimoine naturel et culturel, le tourisme durable, la gestion de l’eau et des déchets, et mettent en évidence de nouveaux domaines thématiques tels que la diffusion des technologies vertes dans les industries, l’optimisation de la logistique portuaire ou le soutien à la création d’emplois. Cross-border tourism - Tourisme transfrontalier -   سياحة عبر الحدود 



The Umayyad Caliphate was the most influent empire of the Mediterranean Basin for almost a century (661-750). This first Islamic dynasty has left an outstanding cultural and architectural heritage, which has been underestimated from a tourist perspective. The UMAYYAD strategic project will contribute to enhance the rich Umayyad heritage thanks to the design of a tourism itinerary across 7 countries.  
 
Le Califat des Omeyyades fut l'empire le plus influent du Bassin Méditerranéen pendant près d'un siècle (661-750). Cette première dynastie islamique a laissé un patrimoine culturel et architectural extraordinaire qui a souvent été sous-estimé d'un point de vue touristique. Le projet stratégique UMAYYAD contribuera à valoriser le remarquable patrimoine Omeyyade grâce à l’élaboration d’un circuit touristique couvrant 7 pays.

Invitation - Invitation -  دعوة



A 10 minute 3D video mapping about the history of the city of Jbeil will be projected at Byblos port (Lebanon) on 26th and 27th July 2013. The projection will be repeated every 30 minutes from 8.30 p.m until midnight and the entrance is free.  This event, organized by I AM strategic project, is taking place during the Byblos International Festival, the biggest one in Lebanon attracting each year thousands of visitors from all over the world. Un mapping  vidéo en 3D de 10 minutes sur l’histoire de la ville de Jbeil sera projeté au port de Byblos (Liban) les 26 et 27 juillet prochains. La projection sera répété toutes les 30 minutes de 20h30 à minuit et l’entrée est gratuite. Cet évènement, organisé par le projet stratégique I AM, se déroule dans le cadre du Festival International de Byblos, le plus important du Liban qui attire chaque année des milliers de visiteurs provenant du monde entier. Opportunities - Opportunities – فرص



The Faculty of Sciences of Bizerte (Tunisia) has launched a call for tenders regarding the purchase of anti-jellyfishes nets and accessories, their delivery and the technical assistance needed for their installation. Bids for this call for tenders under the MED-JELLYRISK project have to be received before the 17th of July 2013. The terms of reference can be downloaded on the Programme website. Moreover, various job opportunities are available on the INTERACT website and at the Anna Lindh Foundation.

La Faculté des Sciences de Bizerte (Tunisie) a lancé un appel d’offres concernant l’acquisition de filets anti-méduses et d’accessoires, leur livraison et l’assistance technique nécessaire pour leur installation. Les réponses à cet appel d’offres pour le projet stratégique MED-JELLYRISK doivent être reçues par voie postale avant le 17 juillet 2013. Le cahier des charges peut être téléchargé sur le site web du Programme. En outre, diverses offres d’emploi sont disponibles sur le site web INTERACT et auprès de la Fondation Anna Lindh.
