Meet Valencia Stovall
Your Next State Representative

Friends! Why Valencia Stovall?

I have a heart for people from all racial and economic classes. I believe in family and community. My experiences as a mother of a young adult and a teenager, as a small business owner, as a co-founder of a non-profit mentoring program, and as an advocate for education equality for all children have all prepared me for this next level in my life, your State Representative.

My platform is basic and straight to the point. The Buck. The Book. The Ballot. I heard this slogan for the first time as a young child during a speech by the late Honorable Maynard H. Jackson, Jr., the first African American mayor of Atlanta and a major southern city. My father, Lovett Stovall played a major role in both of Mayor Jackson's campaigns.

The Buck signifies Economic Regeneration - Viable businesses create jobs!
The Book signifies Education Reformation -  Effective school systems produce graduates ready for the workforce or higher education!
The Ballot signifies Voter Empowerment - Citizens who vote have the power to elect the candidates of their choice!
