Simple Is As Simple Does- The solutions to better careers, better education, better community apathy is simple....we as the community have to decide that we want Better. How do we change the attitudes? It starts with those of us I will call "Change Agents" who understand the concept that no outside entities can make effective changes in our neighborhoods. Once that is understood, the Change Agents must start with our immediate families (spouse/partner, children, sisters, brothers, mother, father) and so on until we have reached the streets we live on then our entire county. Phase 1: Begin to get involved in community events, voicing our opinion on issues to those who are the policy makers, and writing letters to business owners when their quality of services are less than expected. Remember it is SIMPLE, but takes consistency at the same time persistency.
Won't you join me in equipping the Change Agents with the knowledge and support they need to change our communities? Change comes when people are in positions to make changes happen. Contribute NOW any amount...$5, $10, $20, $50, $75, $100, $500, $1000, or $1250. Come out on Thursday, August 20 at 5:30pm-8pm to enjoy sweet treats, poetry, music, and STAND WITH A LEADER ALL ABOUT MAKING POSITIVE DIFFERENCES FOR EVERYONE. Focus areas: Education, Small Business, Senior Adults, Youth, Career-Job Training, Individuals w/ Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities

This bill would allow Georgia 501 (c) (3) nonprofits w/ less than 15 employees to receive surplus property (equipment, furniture, etc.) at no cost for items w/ fair market value of $2,000 or less. This will allow these great organizations to better serve our communities with items Georgians have already paid for once but are no longer in need by local and state government entities.
