Business, Family, Friends & Community Day- Dist. 74
Last Friday was the rescheduled District 74 Business, Family, Friends & Community Day at the Capitol. This time was well spent because the attendees viewed us in Session, toured the Capitol, dialogued with me, witnessed the presentation of a resolution to honor the life of the late David E. Weems, and had lunch all within one day. Little did we expect that within an entire week, everybody would experience challenging times due to another winter storm. Thanks to God that this storm has passed and that trouble doesn't last always. |

FCCLA Day: Babb MS, Roberts MS, North Clayton HS visit the Capitol
Prior to the winter storm warning, students from Clayton County came to see if the legislators are doing their jobs! I greeted them and gave an overview of what they could expect from their visit. Upon leaving, my office gave the students gift cups to commemorate their visit to the State Capitol.
