The week after.

a week later, I assume we all went through the 5 stages of grief (if you were celebrating instead, then wait for it). I have nothing substantial to add to the US election results. You read it all.
I asked myself "what can I do now?" (I am not an US citizen, yet it affects people I love and Europe is facing the same challenges with open hate and racism.) As a hermit type of person I can't even promise to take more care about the people next to me, but I'll give my best every time I leave my cave.
Be kind and check your sources. Communication is the key.
Marcus, DFBM.

Songs of Wild Nothing 3
dfbm #91 - Songs of Wild Nothing Pt. V

Two hours of vernacular electronica, psych folk, fake world music and desert blues.
With early stuff from Raster-Noton, Laurie Spiegel, Ali Farka Touré and more.

Info, Stream and Download
Also on the blog, psych folk duo ELKHORN, made a tour diary and I published it together with an interactive map and some exclusive live recordings and photos. If you want to know what touring in the US is like, check it out. (In Elkhorn's case it's better than other musicians told me).

If someone of you is interested in reviewing one of the latest DFBM releases from September 2016, please get in touch. I need a little bit help in spreading the word.
Maybe you want one of my shirts? That would help too.

Thanks for your support.
I'd love to hear from you.

All the best, Marcus
I had the chance to visit St. EOM's visionary art space Pasaquan near Bueno Aires in South Georgia, USA. A beautiful place build by one guy over 30 years. Eddie Owens Martin's story is pretty wild and quite sad in the end. This article might be a nice starting point.
