Durango Arts Center's Annual Members' Exhibit
Artwork Drop-Off: Tuesday, September 20, 10am-3pm
Opening Reception: Friday, September 23, 5-7pm

The Durango Arts Center's Annual Members’ Exhibit provides its members with an opportunity to create and present artwork inspired by the natural landscapes of the Southwest.  This exhibit is open to all DAC members, is non-juried and there is no charge to enter.  

Cash awards will be given for Best in Show ($250), 2nd Place ($125) & 3rd Place ($75), as well as the annual "Reflections of Durango" award presented by the

The Colorado Artists' Guild is coordinating Art-on-Loan submissions for the Washington, D.C. offices of Colorado Senators Michael Bennet and Cory Gardner.  
This opportunity is open to Colorado artists only, working in 2D and 3D mediums. Shipping and insurance costs will be covered by the Senator's office.  

RIDGWAY FILM FEST MOONWALK

The Ridgway Creative District and Weehawken Creative Arts, in collaboration with the Four Corners Film Office are calling to Colorado independent filmmakers to enter short films for a free public showing on Saturday, November 12 at the historic Sherbino Theater in Ridgway, CO as part of the Ridgway MoonWalk.  Films should be no more than 20 minutes and appropriate for family viewing.

The Fine Arts Gallery at Armstrong State University (Savannah, GA) is proud to announce its 6th Annual Armstrong National 2‑D Competition Exhibition.  The Armstrong is seeking talented young and mid-career artists throughout the nation whose work covers a variety of concepts and addresses different issues and technical considerations in art.

Studio & Gallery (Durango, CO) is seeking artists for its 4th Annual Bizarre Bazaar, a holiday marketplace that offers patrons an opportunity to buy unique gifts directly from the local artists that made them. Artists working in various printmaking techniques, photo-processes, book arts and digital can apply to become an Artist-in-Residence at Kala Art Institute.  Kala encourages use of both traditional and new technologies, and their admixture.  Resident artists receive 24-hour access to the printmaking workshop and/or electronic media center, and possible exposure in exhibitions at Kala or outside exhibition spaces.

Founded by artists in 1984, the Vermont Studio Center is the largest international artists' and writers' Residency Program in the United States, hosting 50 visual artists and writers each month from across the country and around the world.

The Studio Center provides 2-12 week studio residencies on an historic 30-building campus along the Gihon River in Johnson, Vermont, a village in the heart of the northern Green Mountains. Residents receive an individual studio, private room, and all meals. In addition, VSC's program includes a roster of Visiting Artists and Writers who offer slide talks/readings and individual studio visits/conferences.
