Join us as we participate in Knit Purl Hunter's Mystery KAL in April!

Follow along as we knit a gorgeous poncho – this year’s hottest fashion accessory! The fabric has an interesting design with superior drape. Best of all, the simple construction makes it a garment that is flattering on EVERYONE! Knitters of all shapes and sizes modeled the poncho and were thrilled with the flattering silhouette. Most ponchos are available in the dreaded “one size fits all”, but Michelle offers two sizes to please everyone. Whether you are new to garments or an experienced veteran, 14 Carat will bring you new skills as well as a stylish garment. No previous garment experience is necessary – it’s the perfect first step to wearable knitting!

14 Carat is knit with HiKoo® CoBaSi fingering yarn, making it a lightweight top appropriate for chilly spring evenings or overly air-conditioned restaurants in the summer. And remember, CoBaSi is available in solid, tonal and multi-colors, that will all showcase the design.

The first clue in this mystery KAL will be released on Thursday, April 7th on Knit Purl Hunter's website.  Subsequent clues will be released on each Thursday through April.

Keep in touch with others and show off your progress and finished work on Knit Purl Hunter's Ravelry Group. Michelle can be found there to help with any questions.

More information and color cards are available on Skacel's website here: Skacel

At Yarn Asylum, we will be knitting together on Sundays - noon to 4 pm.  Come join us and we will knit up this mystery poncho together!

To make this even more exciting and fun - Skacel is having a contest to go with this KAL!  Details, rules and forms are also available on Skacel's website.
