Spring 2016 'Form and Elegance' ExhibitionThirty contemporary sculptors showcase over three hundred sculptures in the gardens

The gardens at Wyndcliffe Court are certainly worth a visit in their own right. However, they also make a wonderful setting for our spring  "Elegance and Form” garden sculpture show. With over 300 sculptures on display in a range of styles, mediums, sizes and prices, there is something to suit every taste and pocket. From forged steel to mosaic, from wood carvings to stone figures, the sculptures are all hand selected, high quality pieces of art shown at their best in our stunning grade II listed Arts and Crafts Gardens.

Become a seasonal member

For a one off annual fee of £6 you can visit and return to the Sculpture gardens as many times as you like in the calendar year for no extra charge. You will also receive a complimentary catalogue covering the history of the house and gardens, a guide to the artists and a site map. Seasonal members receive exclusive email invitations to private openings & priority booking for events such as our Shakepeare in the garden plays in July.

Seasonal membership can also be a great present for friends or family - vouchers can be ordered by phone or online and can be collected from the office or posted to the recipient.
 



Help us celebrate the Queen's Ninetieth birthday with a garden party at Wyndcliffe
On Saturday 11th June at 2.30pm Wyndcliffe Court Sculpture Gardens will be hosting a garden party on the archery lawn to celebrate the Queen's birthday. Complete with bunting, trestle tables & tablecloths, music and children's activities the party is aimed at the local community wishing to celebrate in traditional way in a beatiful setting.

Tickets to include sandwiches, cakes, scones and cream, teas, coffees and soft drinks are £16 per head. Numbers are strictly limited to one hundred and reserved for seasonal members and those living in the local community. Please call 01291 621242 or book online.. 

If the weather is looking inclement the party will move to our oak panelled ballroom.
 



An evening of Classical music at Wyndcliffe Court
On Sunday 19th June Wyndcliffe Court's oak panelled ballroom will play host to a concert of classical music organised by Wye Valley Music as part of its 'Music in June' series of concerts.

Starting at 7.30 pm the concert will be performed by cellists Rosie Biss and Alice Neary. Rosie is principal cello of Welsh National Opera as well as being an accomplished chamber musician, soloist and teacher. Alice enjoys a distinguished career as both chamber musician and soloist. She is a member of the Gould Piano Trio and also plays regularly with the famed Nash Ensemble. Rosie and Alice will be performing music by Boccherini, Chopin and Paganini among others.

Before the concert: Wyndcliffe Court Gardens will be open from 6:00pm £4 (pre-booking advised). Canapés will be served from 6:30pm £6 (pre-booking needed by 16th June).
 



Try afternoon tea in our Oak panelled ballroom?
The Wyndcliffe Court tea rooms are now set up to offer Cream teas and Afternoon teas both on our garden terrace and in our Grand Oak Ballroom. With vintage tablecloths and china, comfy sofas, books to read, paintings to look at and wonderful homemade food the tea rooms are the perfect complement to the magnificent sculpture gardens . There are also tables outside, both under cover in the loggia and on the terrace with wonderful views over the gardens the Severn estuary and bridges. 

We serve teas, coffees, other hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, soups, cakes, cream teas, afternoon teas and ice cream. Specials change daily, but will always include a selection of sandwiches, homemade soup and cakes all freshly home baked and served in generous slices.

"Afternoon Tea for Two" vouchers are also available for online purchase.

Our tea rooms  can cater for special dietary requirements, please ask a member of staff. There is also free wi-fi throughout. We can also cater for private meetings, functions and events please call to 01291 621242 to discuss.
 



Shakespeare in the Garden
Following on from last year's extremely sucessful performance of Twelth Night and Much Ado about nothing we are delighted to welcome back the GB theatre company with a double bill of As you Like it and Romeo and Juliet. Once again the plays will be performed  the archery lawn by actors from the prestigious GB theatre company
