HarvardWIT+ AMA (Ask Me Anything) - Summer 2020

Harvard WIT+ Summer AMAs (Ask Me Anything)
HarvardWIT+ usually takes a break for the summer in terms of programming, but given the impact of COVID-19 on all of our lives, we are starting a new virtual series for the summer called "Summer AMAs," where we invite experts from across the university to give a short presentation and take questions on issues that are important to our members during this difficult time. See below for details of each session.

The right to negotiate as equals with the individuals who decide our pay and govern our daily working lives is vital even in good times and this pandemic has laid bare how often it's also a matter of physical safety as well as economic justice. Danielle will discuss how union as well as nonunion workers can exercise more control over what happens to us at work in order to make our jobs and our world better, safer, and more equitable.

Danielle Boudrow is an HUCTW Organizer and the union's Recording Secretary. Prior to coming to work full time for the union in 2018, Danielle worked for many years at HKS in the Women and Public Policy Program and has an academic background in Women's and Gender Studies as well as Labor Studies. She brings an intentionally feminist and anti-racist lens to labor organizing and is excited to talk with everyone in the WIT community.
