The third Success Conference in Canberra from September 5-6, 2015, is designed to support and strengthen clubs in our zone. The conference will have a strong focus on membership retention and development.
We are also holding a Young Rotarians Summit in conjunction with the Success Conference. This will give you an opportunity to connect with the next generation of Rotarians and current Rotaractors and hear how we can continue Rotary’s relevance into the future.
As our work goes on in Nepal, our attention is also back to the Philippines where, working with local NGO the Balay Mindanaw Foundation, we provided Australian SkyHydrant™ filtration systems following the horrendous typhoons. Over coming weeks, the Foundation's CEO Rochelle Mordeno will be here speaking at Rotary clubs and the RI Director's Briefing Weekend. A number of Filipino mayors will also be in Australia to learn more about installing SkyHydrants in their communities using local government funding.
1 in 5 Australians will suffer a mental illness this year. Join Australian Rotary Health in shining a light on mental health by hosting a Hat Day event on Friday October 9. 100% of donations will be used to fund vital mental health research. Register your Club today.
