Global Outlook:

Disaster Aid provides vital help in Malaysia


Following massive flooding in late December that caused widespread destruction and loss, Disaster Aid Response Team members (DARTs) from Australia and Malaysia have been in the field providing assistance, including shelter and the installation of water filtration systems. More than 200,000 people were displaced as a result of these storms and the recovery phase will be long and arduous. We are working alongside other agencies (and fellow Rotarians), including our newest partner, the Red Crescent organisation.
