Dear friends, partners and connoisseurs of good lighting,

We wish to express our gratitude for your visit during this year's Light + Building. Our new stand design not only set the stage for our latest products, but also quickly evolved into an essential hub for inspiring discussions. The fair underlined and made tangible the increased requirement for greater flexibility in architectural lighting – and this is precisely how the 'ERCO individual' services presented in Frankfurt support creative lighting designers. Our new lighting tools with chip on-board technology also open up a new range of applications in the retail lighting sector.

Have fun reading.

With best wishes,

ERCO individual: new production technologies for the perfect lighting tool
The greatest challenge for technical planners and creative lighting designers in projects is to find a lighting solution that focuses on human perception and, as part of this, meets the needs of design-related, technical and cost-efficiency considerations. Although ERCO offers its partners an extensive programme with a portfolio of almost 10,000 different series products, projects always occur in which lighting designers enter uncharted territory with their lighting ideas. From the Louvre in Paris and the Reichstag in Berlin to the recently inaugurated Louvre Abu Dhabi – the list of projects with ERCO special luminaires is extensive. ERCO offers customers extensive options for individualising product ranges in the form of ERCO individual, as well as providing support for the development of sophisticated special luminaires.

ERCO luminaires with chip-on-board technology: an extensive new range of retail products for maximum diversity at an attractive price
Light is the fourth dimension of architecture. and each form of architecture places differing demands on light – especially in the retail sector. Light and surfaces are the determining factors in lending shops unique identities and atmospheres. It is here that the vision of the lighting designer materialises in the true sense of the word. Appropriate light distributions are needed for optimum spatial impact but the quality of materials and merchandise only becomes perceivable with suitable light colours and light spectra. ERCO ideally brings together both parameters in its new range of luminaires with chip-on-board technology, thus significantly expanding the options available to lighting designers in retail lighting.
