Nipper Nationals

Great turnout at the Nipper Pool Nationals in Kilkenny with  a record breaking 350 nippers racing during the day. Clare were the overall winners with Waterford in 2nd and Donegal in 3rd. Keep up the training for the surf.

Irish Racing in Aussies

Jess Britton, John Morton both from Wicklow and Triona Mc Menamin, Donegal all previous members of Irish International Lifesaving Teams all raced at the Australian Lifesaving Nationals last weekend.

Here's a picture of Jess and Triona after the semi finals of the surf swim, all competitors racing had to wear bright pink singlets when racing. Lots of semi finals and finals but no medals this time around!
