Vote for Planet Vintage Girl as Best Vintage Furniture/Home Shop

Planet Vintage Girl has been lucky enough to be nominated 2 years in a row for Best Vintage Furniture/Home Shop in the Manchester Vintage Awards! We’d like to say a big thank you to all of those who nominated us. It would be super special if we could make this a winning year, so if our fans could spare a minute to vote for us we would be eternally grateful! Just follow the
link and select your favourite vintage Manchester businesses!

The Vintage Home Show at Victoria Baths
One of our best-loved fairs is held at Victoria Baths. The Vintage Home Show highlights the best in Manchester Vintage homewares! We’ll be back there on the 27th October so come down and see us. Entry is £3 and doors open 11-4.
Find PVG on Etsy and Twitter
Now there are even more ways to interact with PVG and find out about new stock, fairs and events!

We have a store on Etsy which currently focuses on smaller, decorative vintage items which are exclusive to the
Etsy shop.

And our birdcall must be a sweet song because we reached 1000 followers on Twitter this month. Reach us
@planetvintage. A big thanks to Laurie B who manages our social networks!
In other news...

Well what a Summer its been! We’ve had all the fun of the fair at Salvo, with a new addition to the PVG and Insitu repertoire… a Victorian coconut shy! Yes this old timey game raised £120 which we donated to the Salvo Fair’s chosen charity, Médecins Sans Frontières.

We’ve also had some fantastic press this summer. In August, Homes and Antiques magazine featured Planet Vintage Girl in Stall Stories, just a little summary of the escapades at last year’s Knutsford Fair. And more recently fashion designer Emma Cook chose Insitu and PVG to be in her Little Black Book for the Sunday Telegraph’s fashion magazine.

Also the
BBC’s Antiques Road Trip, along with Edwina Currie, visited the shop on their tour around Manchester’s vintage emporiums. So look out for us on BBC 2 to find how the candlesticks the team picked fair at auction!

Shhh Secret Parking!
That’s right, we’ll share our secret parking areas with you lucky newsletter readers! Right across the road from Insitu there is a sneaky little road with ample parking space and all for free!
5 Year Anniversary
Can you believe it? This December marks our 5 year anniversary at the shop on Chester Road. We will be revealing our celebration plans in our next newsletter so don’t miss out!
