As Hamilton has been moved back to Grey Lockdown, the studio will be closed for in-person lessons as per provincial regulations.
Private Students: All lessons will now continue via Remote Learning on Zoom, beginning Mon, March 29. Virtual recital performances are due April 1, check in with your teacher this week for details!
Chamber Strings: We will meet on Zoom from 7-8pm Tues, March 30. Please be prepared with Bliss and Serenade.
Beginner, Junior, Senior & Adult Group Classes:
We will take a 2-week Spring Break from rehearsals at this time & resume the week of April 12. A newsletter will be sent out before classes resume. Please follow us on Social Media for updates as well.
Musicians are highly encouraged to continue regular daily practicing! There are many Practice Videos to use and I will post a few more this weekend for the new tunes - check your YouTube Playlist! Video homework will take place at the end of April, so keep up the music!
These are your Group Class songs to practice: Beginners: Twinkle, Frere Jacques, Hot Crossed Buns on all 4 Strings, Fiddlers Warm-Up. Juniors: Can't Stop the Feeling, Tortoises, Hens & Roosters, Seniors: Cant Stop the Feeling, Swan, Elephant, Straight Song, Aquarium (those who have it) Adults: Brown Eyed Girl, Swan, Elephant, Straight Song, Aquarium (those who have it)
I look forward to "seeing" you all again soon, musicians! Thank you for your continued support. I've had a lot to learn about virtual programming and technology (and I am still navigating these new waters) and I greatly appreciate your enthusiasm and participation. It is so much fun making music with all of you, even if it is behind a screen!
As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Musically yours,
